Hi, I'm Syed Rayyan. I'm a web developer and SEO specialist based in Melbourne, Australia, and I work with service businesses in the US, Australia and the UAE on their websites and growth. This site is a separate project of mine about pickleball.

What this site is

Pickleball's rules and gear advice is scattered across rulebooks, forums and review sites, and a lot of it is out of date or buried in marketing. I turn the official USA Pickleball rulebook and independent test data into plain-English guides, and I link every source so you can check it yourself. The guides are written for American players, so rules and prices refer to the US.

What I am not

I am not a referee, a coach or a professional player, and I don't pretend to be. When a guide uses other people's test results, it says whose. When I haven't played with a product myself, the guide says that too. For anything official, the current rulebook and your event's referee decide, not this site.

How the guides are made

Each guide starts from primary sources: the rulebook for rules, and named independent testers for gear. I use AI tools to help research and draft, and I check every rule against the official text before it is published. Read the full process in the editorial policy.

How this site is funded

Right now it isn't. This site has no ads and no affiliate links, and nothing on it is sponsored or paid for. If that ever changes, I will say so clearly on the pages affected and update the privacy policy first.
